Travel Health Introduction

This course is designed and delivered by a Travel health Specialist Nurse for Registered Healthcare Professionals who have the opportunity to practice Travel Medicine. On completion of the course the practitioner will be skilled and competent in delivering accurate and current Travel health care and advice to all travellers in a variety of settings in accordance with the RCN Travel competency guidelines (2018) The Guidelines will be updated December 2021, this course will be adapted accordingly.

Travel Health Update

Update in Travel Medicine This course is designed and delivered by a Travel Specialist Nurse and aims to update Registered Healthcare Professionals with the information and tools to confidently deliver accurate up to date Travel Health advice in a skilled and competent manner. On completion of this course the practitioner will have up to date knowledge regarding COVID 19 and the impact that it has made on travel. This course focuses on the considerations given to the Psychological aspects of a Travel risk assessment and considerations when advising senior travellers.
